The Big Chef Large Douglas is a 272 cm wide kamado outdoor kitchen from The Big Chef Large series. The black powder-coated steel frame is finished with solid Douglas fir and fitted with a granite worktop, with a round cut-out of 55 cm and workspace on either side. Your kamado sits flush within it, creating a clean, level cooking line.
On a patio or in the garden, the combination of dark steel and light Douglas fir gives the kitchen a warm, robust look. Outdoors, the wood develops a grey patina over time. At a height of 93 cm you can work standing upright, and the four braked swivel castors let you move the kitchen effortlessly.
The Big Chef Large Douglas is made for anyone who cooks on a kamado and likes open, easily accessible storage. You place your kamado in the round 55 cm cut-out, which fits the major kamado brands such as Big Green Egg, The Bastard, Monolith and Kamado Joe, and use the worktop alongside for preparation. Beneath the worktop you have four open compartments for wood, charcoal and accessories. You choose the layout and the position of the cut-out yourself when ordering.
The kitchen is made in Almelo and delivered to your door within 2 to 5 working days, complete with all components. The worktop is heat-resistant up to 250 degrees and, with an IP54 rating, the kitchen is suitable for all seasons. We give a 5-year warranty on construction and finish. So your kamado is ready for its first cook in no time.

Douglas Fir
Warm, natural and durable. Douglas fir ages beautifully outdoors and develops a silver-grey patina. An annual treatment with exterior wood oil keeps it in top condition. Standard finish, no extra charge.
Steel
Industrial, robust and low-maintenance. Powder-coated steel, resistant to rust and UV radiation. No annual treatment needed. The most durable choice for permanent placement.
